First off let me admit, I am a big fan of making up words! Yep it's true, and also of rhymes. It can be a lot of fun, but for little learners it can also be a great learning tool. They are building those brain connections of different sounds, and how sounds go together in new words.
There are some fun "tricks" to throw in there too when you play this with your kids.
And let's stop right here and make sure we are making it a game, a fun learning experience and not a pass or fail test. This isn't college admissions it is early learning.
When you are doing rhymes you want to throw in things that don't rhyme too, but another layer there is to add things that go together, but don't rhyme.
Because again we are building those brain muscles.
Until next time, take care of you!
