This comes up sometimes for parents when they are considering preschool. After all school districts zone kids to specific schools, so it's natural to assume that is the same for preschool.
However, this is very rarely an issue. In fact finding an actual preschool can be difficult, because it's not the same thing as a daycare, and is generally not funded by the state.
The good news is you can find a preschool that makes sense for your family, and your needs. And of course now with the internet there are program options (like ours!) that are available online. That means you can have your child attend preschool at home, or at the grandparents house, or even together with a cousin or two.
Once your child is ready for Kindergarten, then you will need to know your local requirements of what ages they accept, and where you have to live to be able to attend.
Until next time, take care of you!
